Mrs. Skinner's Class

Hello there and welcome to the 2018-2019 school year!
My name is Destinie Skinner and I am a second grade teacher here at Magnolia Park Elementary. I am a 13 year Greyhound graduate, and I actually attended Magnolia Park as an elementary student. I obtained my bachelors degree from William Carey University, and I am certified to teach K-6 all subjects and 7-12 Social Studies and English. I live in Ocean Springs with my husband, Aaron and our three beautiful daughters, Avereigh (8), Eleanor (3), and Eden (2). In our spare time we love spending time with our family and friends and going to Bama football games.

One of my goals this year is to help your child grow and learn to their fullest potential. It is my job as your child's teacher to teach to their learning preference. I believe that one of the foundations to an awesome education is communication between the educator and parents. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me! I constantly check my email, day or night.
I look forward to this year and having the privilege to help your child reach their fullest potential.
