Next Thursday, March 5, will be Spring picture day, so the children need to wear their best Spring outfit and NOT their light blue class t-shirt. I apologize for any confusion.

The children in my class may all bring a small stuffed animal to school this Thursday. Mrs. McGraw in the library will be having an event where the children will have an opportunity to make an outfit for it out of construction paper and supplies.
Pull Tabs
We are collecting canned drink tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Please send these to school by January 31 if you have any. Thank you!
Family Turkey Project
Turkey project instructions will be coming home. These will be a Social Studies grade and will be due on or before Friday, November 15.
Trunk or Treat
Due to limited parking, the high school has requested no parents for Trunk or Treat on Thursday. Thank you!
Scholastic Book Order
Your child will be bringing home a Scholastic Book Club order form in Tuesday folders. You may also order online at www.scholastic.com/bookclubs and entering class code K2LKV . Orders are due no later than Tuesday, September 3. All online orders of $25 or more can pick a free book up to $5 in value with the coupon code READS. These books will be delivered to school within 2 weeks. If you have any questions, please let me know.
